Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun starrer Dhurandhar is having a dream run at the box office. Despite an A certificate, the Aditya Dhar directorial is going all guns blazing, having collected Rs 159.40 crore in just five days. Ranveer Singh recorded his highest single day collection with Dhurandhar, surpassing his previous best for Padmaavat by a quite a margin. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial recorded its highest single day at Rs 32 crore on first Friday, whereas the Aditya Dhar directorial raked in a whopping Rs 44.80 crore on is first Sunday.

Director Aditya Dhar's previous best single day collection came with Uri The Surgical Strike in 2018. The Vicky Kaushal starrer minted Rs 17.17 crore on its second Sunday. Now, Dhurandhar has toppled that with its first Sunday collection of Rs 44.80 crore.

The day 3, ie first Sunday collection of Dhurandhar is the second-highest of the year. In February, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava brought in a smashing Rs 49.03 crore. The Ranveer Singh starrer trails behind with Rs 44.80 crore.

Dhurandhar also recorded the second-highest first Saturday or day 2 collection of 2025, earning Rs 33.10 crore. Chhaava occupies the top spot here as well. The Laxman Utekar directorial collected Rs 39.30 crore on day 2 and thus holds the record for the highest first Saturday collection of the year.

Against all odds, Dhurandhar has beaten Chhaava and Saiyaara to take the throne for the highest first Tuesday collection of 2025. The spy thriller earned a staggering Rs 28.60 crore on day 5. Chhaava and Saiyaara had minted Rs 25.75 crore and Rs 25 crore respectively.
